This week, In Defense of Appendant Organizations: settling the
competition with the Lodges. Do the Shriners really steal our blue
Lodge members? Does the Scottish Rite scout out good ritualists and
steal them away? Does the blue Lodge resent all the other
organizations? We'll answer that in a new paper from Brother
William Boyd. Then, the wildly bizarre tale of William Wirt-- the
anti-masonic parties choice to run for president--who was a
brother? We'll hear about it in part one of this week's Masonic
minute with Illustrious Brother Steven L. Harrison. Then, we'll
reminisce a little bit about some of my feelings in relation to
going to Grand Lodge sessions… maybe we're not going. We'll wrap it
up with a great piece on platonic idealism and why it matters right
